THE JOB:

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed. You will help set the stage for our guests by delivering WOW dining experiences.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and guest specifications.Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety standards.Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service.Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.Handle high-volume orders with precision and attention to detail.Assist with the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for daily service.Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be at least 18 years of age.Prior experience working as a cook in a high-volume restaurant or formal culinary education/training.Prior experience working in a casino. hotel or setting.High school diploma, GED or equivalent.Must either possess the ability to obtain or currently hold a Food Handler's card.Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.Ability to stand for long periods.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Takes pride in their work, can multi-task and describes themselves as detail oriented.Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.

THE STARTING PAY:

$24.53 per hour

THE SCHEDULE:

On-Call. Must be able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.
