We’re honored to bring our leading-edge care and state-of-the-art technology to Florida’s Suncoast.

Our 254-bed full-service facility offers emergency care, a primary stroke center, orthopedics and the only licensed obstetric and pediatric units in Charlotte County.

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for preparation of quality food for patients, associates and customers using in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards utilizing the facility recipes and production sheets. Other responsibilities may include tray assembly, distribution and service, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Prepares patient and retail menu items on production sheets, in accordance with forecasted and/or tallied quantities, always following WC established recipes.

Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards. Completes and utilizes daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.

Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.

Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas.

Assists the Chef in taking inventory as necessary.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

High School Education or equivalent

Three to Five years progressive cooking experience within a restaurant, hotel, or likelarge quantity cooking forum.

Florida Food Handlers Certification within 2 weeks of hire
