Cook - Per diem

Prepare breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner for all areas serviced by Food Services as assigned by Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or First Cook. Performs necessary prep work to complete meals on daily basis and for next day's production needs. Responsible for the organization and sanitation of work areas.

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and up to one year of basic technical training in food preparation and six to twelve months of previous work-related experience, plus three months or less of on-the-job training and orientation. Certification required as a food Handler from the city of Paterson or similar food safety certification; must obtain within 1 week of hire and maintain certification.
