Coord Child Life Specialist Hospice- Pediatric Child Life Division - FT- 2nd Shift

Have background in counseling or ministry with appropriate degrees in psychology, counseling, social work, or a health related area.Possess a high level of written and oral communication skills with a thorough knowledge of the dynamics of grief and bereavement.Have a minimum of 2 year experience in clinical work or the equivalent in education and experience.Must be a good public speaker.Knowledge of computers a plus.Must have valid Alabama driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.Education:  Require Bachelor’s degree in family and child development, child life or related field from an accredited college or university. 

License, Certification and/or Registration:  Child Life Certification or eligibility to sit for exam. Certification must be obtained within the first year of employment.  

Experience: Clinical experience in Child Life Program. Internship in Child Life. Supervised by Certified Child Life Specialist Required.
