+ JOB SUMMARY + Promotes a high level of customer satisfaction during patient interactions, requiring knowledge of departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Maintains accurate and timely billing information, processes appointments, and daily reconciles charge and payment entries and bank deposit. Incumbents are subject to overtime and callback as required. Performs other duties as assigned. + DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas: + Education/Regulatory Requirements: + High School graduate/GED certificate + Minimum 6 months clerical/secretarial experience + One year's current experience with insurance billing and/or medical collection and medical terminology preferred. + Collegiate or medical trade completion. Associates Degree preferred. + Skills: + Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills. + Knowledge of correct and safe use of basic office equipment including copier, fax machine, and computer. + Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions. + Ability to organize and communicate clearly. + Professional communication and clinical skills. + Strong Interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
