Payroll Coordinator
General Summary: To prepare and enter payroll according to the Labor Contracts for the Counce Mill and process absences according to the Attendance Control Program.
Basic Qualifications:
Education equivalent to High School graduate, business college courses preferred.
2-4 years of payroll or accounting related experience preferred.
Proficient skills in use of personal computer, calculator and other office machines.
Strong working knowledge of computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and accounting/payroll software required.
Must be able to read and interpret labor contracts.
Must communicate and work well with others.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and some overtime.
Preferred Qualifications: 2-4 years of payroll experience preferred
Knowledge-Skills-Abilities:
Enter and process the hourly mill payroll.
Transmit payroll to Ceridian.
Balance payroll and accounts and transmits to Trident General Ledger.
Maintain garnishment files and submit new forms to Corporate.
Maintain attendance records including FMLA.
Handle all reporting and balancing of payroll reports.
Provide back-up capabilities for the Payroll Administrator position.
