Position Summary
This position provides day-to-day management of educational and residency program activities to include administrative support to the Program Director(s), Associate Program Director, Program Manager and faculty. The Program Coordinator manages the block/assignment schedules, evaluations, and other New Innovations documentation of and between faculty physicians and residents/fellows. This position is responsible for learning and maintaining New Innovations and educating others on the tools available to the residency/fellowship program. The Program Coordinator must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of the ACGME requirements. He/she coordinates and administers human resource functions, answers incoming calls to the program office, participates in the scheduling and documentation of program and faculty meetings. Acts for and makes decisions in the Residency/Fellowship Program Manager’s absence within prescribed limits of authority.
