Project Manager

Your responsabilities:

Strong people manager who is responsible for performance of up to 3 direct reportsPartner with several Facilities Managers to ensure onsite move / space management deliverables are efficiently executed.Partner closely with Occupancy Planning, Space Planning, and Facilities Operations, as well as numerous cross functional teams to accomplish scope / deliverables at hand. Oversee campus wide move activity including churn and large moves. Large moves can range from 500 to 2,000 at a time.Manage all relocation activities on account for specific projects; incorporating and creating “best practices” Ensure all relocation activities are performed in a manner consistent with documented processes and in accordance with JLL’s policies and proceduresEnsure operations manual is in place and updated (on account)Provide a single point of contact for all relocation project activities for client, regularly update client with updates to scope, schedule, and budget as necessaryFacilitate and document project meetings with internal staff and key stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are communicated and understood by all concerned.  Participate in planning meetings hosted by the client, Occupancy Planning and other key stakeholdersDevelop and implement relocation project plan and budget through collaboration with the facility manager, project manager and construction manager; as required. Procure and manage move labor, including vendor/contractor RFP, bidding process, evaluate proposals and recommend selection of vendor/contractor Determine the pricing for any non-baseline work requested (i.e. construction-related needs, furniture reconfigurations, people relocations that exceed baseline parameters, etc.)Functions as a subject matter expert for a specific product or service.  

Customer Experience

Responsible for developing and implementing the detailed communication plan with the clientExhibit strong verbal communication skills at all levels of the client organization and across the extended project teamMeet or exceed client expectations by focusing on client goals and objectives and by holding the project team accountable while staying within scope, schedule, and budgetIdentify and resolve critical client issues, or inform Team Lead/RMD when intervention is neededUnderstand and adopt behaviors of the client culture; supervise JLL project team in following the same behaviorKeep client informed of project activities and seek client's cooperation and approval for implementation of any changes to the project plan

Leadership/Staff Management

Provide career guidance and development for employees, including mentor recommendations, career pathingProvide excellent onboarding, training, and team buildingActively support an environment of teamwork, cooperation, performance excellence and personal successParticipate in the individual performance management program and personal development planning for members of the teamAlign with facilities leadership team as a manager and act in a manager capacity for anything at the site/sAct as an ambassador for JLL, adopting and maintaining the firm’s core values of Teamwork, Ethics and ExcellenceContribute to the "skill" development of other team members; motivate the team by demonstrating how their contributions affect project outcomeRecommend additional training and development of personnelConduct screening calls, interviews and hiring practicesParticipate in new employee orientation and training, including setting up hiring "buddy" and setting up shadowing opportunities

Requirements:

Full degree in Architecture, Engineering (s) or related areasAdvanced knowledge and experience in occupancy planning, space planning and facilities operationsknowledge of project management methodologiesStrong analytical, organizational, and presentation skillsExcellent written and verbal skillsFluent english Spanish is a plus
