As Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programmer, you will be responsible for:
 

Creating inspection programs for coordinate measuring machines, devices that measures objects' physical characteristics such as dimensions and other geometrical qualities.Ensuring the machine is correctly working through programming scripts and tests.Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.Keeping measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions calling for repairs.Following through on any tasks, assignments, or projects that management assigns.Quality Control Inspector duties as assigned on a needed basis.CMM Programming support as needed for larger CWI support base.

To be successful in this role you will have:
 

High School Diploma or GED.8+ years of experience in machining and/or quality dimensional inspection.Programming experience in PC-DMIS/ ZEISS CALYPSO software.Use of basic measuring equipment Strong communication skillsAbility to read blueprints, drawings, MTR’s (material test reports) and supplier certification.MS Excel and MS Word
