Created in 2015 to align, lighten and modernize infrastructure, the Technology & Infrastructure (T & I) team is the backbone and the future forward arm of CBC/Radio-Canada. Your role

You coordinate and ensure the continuity of acquisition, feed and communication resources for CBC/Radio-Canada networks and external clients. You ensure the correct operation of master control equipment used for network broadcasts and radio presentation. You also distribute the signals of programs or program segments, ensuring quality control.

You book circuits as required, as well as find and apply solutions to problems that arise before and during broadcast.

We are looking for a candidate with the following: 

College diploma in TV production and post-production techniques, or other relevant fieldThree (3) or more years’ experience performing related dutiesJudgment and initiativeProblem-solving skillsAbility to communicate with multiple stakeholders; people and teamwork skillsKnowledge of satellite, terrestrial and IP transmissionsAbility to work under pressureBilingualism (English and French), an assetComputer literacyAvailability to work rotating schedules (day, evening, night, including weekends)
