Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is searching for a Accounts Payable Coordinator for our Corporate Payroll Office in Alhambra. This is a per diem, day shift position. Monterey Park Hospital is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital has provided our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. This position reports to the Controller.
ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Payable Coordinator processes accounts payable documents accurately and efficiently, opens mail, date stamps all invoices, matches invoices to P.O.s, matches checks to processed invoices and verifies for accuracy files check copies and paid invoices properly by fiscal year and archives old files in storage properly and timely in addition to other duties as assigned. The employee in this position interacts and communicates with vendors and hospital staff in a professional manner. This position works closely with the Sr. Accountant and reports to the Controller.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
