Overview
**POSITION PURPOSE:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and energetic Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Accounts Payable team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. A key responsibility includes managing and updating our utility spreadsheet, which tracks all utility accounts across our locations. The ideal candidate will be proactive and ready to work, detail oriented, and proficient with Excel.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**
1. Review, code, and enter invoices, ensuring accuracy
2. Maintain and update a centralized utility spreadsheet including account numbers, billing cycles, due dates
3. Monitor utility bills for variances and escalate unusual charges or issues
4. Audit expense reports for employee reimbursements
5. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
6. Match invoices to POs
7. Ensures accurate monthly rent invoices and in some cases adjustments
8. Compile documents related to capital expenditure; communicate with upper management for same

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**
Required Knowledge/Skills/Attributes
+ Working knowledge of Excel and its functions
+ Ability to write emails to internal and external customers
+ Work well in a team environment
Education
Minimum of AS Degree, 3-5 years or more of related work experience
Experience
· Proficiency in Excel, including experience with spreadsheets and formulas
· Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with vendors and internal teams professionally
· Familiarity with utility billing and account structures
· Ability to work independently, ready to work, and meet deadlines

A typical office environment, indoors, in a temperature-controlled building with artificial lighting, open concept cubicle glass setting. Personal desktop computer and phone at each cubicle. Low noise levels. Employees are expected to dress in business casual or professional attire.

Pay Range: $20-23/hr
