**Additional Information** **Job Number** 25019754 **Job Category** Sales & Marketing **Location** Greater China (Hong Kong), Suite 1108 11th Floor Cityplaza One, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China,VIEW ON MAP (https://www.google.com/maps?q=Greater%20China%20%28Hong%20Kong%29%2C%20Suite%201108%2011th%20Floor%20Cityplaza%20One%2C%20Hong%20Kong%2C%20Hong%20Kong%2C%20China%2C) **Schedule** Full Time **Located Remotely?** N **Position Type** Non-Management **JOB SUMMARY** The Coordinator, B2B Events & Programs, Asia Pacific reports to the Director, B2B Events & Programs, APAC and supports with the planning, preparation and execution of B2B customer events and participation of key trade shows for the Global Sales Organization (GSO) across Asia Pacific (APAC). **CANDIDATE PROFILE** **Education and Experience** + Bachelor’s degree preferred + Minimum 4 years of professional experience in event management, preferably in corporate or/and special events, with knowledge of online event management tools, web-based event systems and mobile event applications. **Skills and Competencies** + Self-driven personality that takes a proactive, hands-on approach when comes to problem solving + Passion for events, and an eye for details + Strong interpersonal and communication skills + Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure + Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously and takes ownership of work + Ability to manage time and prioritize workload well + A team player and able to work independently at the same time **CORE WORK ACTIVITIES** + Provides day-to-day administrative support that includes management of event management systems or/and applications and correspondence with respective internal stakeholders (GSO and properties) on enquiries, meetings and conference call agendas and recaps + Develops regular and ad-hoc reports to internal stakeholders + Assists with vendor sourcing and supports with the liaison with vendors (e.g. event companies, brand/design agencies) on event branding and programming + Assists with putting together vendor brief, RFP’s and presentation decks + Onsite event support (overseas events) may be required. _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
