Coordinator, Content Distribution Ops

The Content Distributions Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of content fulfillment requests according to deadlines and business objectives. This role reports directly to the Manager of Content Operations.  The coordinator will also work closely with the Director of Distribution Operations and the VP, Content Distribution Operations. Basic Requirements: + Collaborate on creating and distributing program linear formats in NETS for both, Telemundo & Universo ensuring all properties have a corresponding format available in APT for TLMD. + Distribute communications regarding schedules and preemptions. + Support the fulfillment plan for new titles going to Peacock including next day content, acquisitions to streaming, specials and originals.  + Assist with confirming the rights for streaming content for distribution as Current Content and SLE/FER on Peacock. + Coordinate non-linear fulfillment components such as closed caption, ingest, etc. and any cost associated to these. Notify management of status and flag if cost is involved in the delivery of the asset. + Attend weekly meetings with Operations & Technology to help facilitate the delivery timeline for non-linear content. + Provide support in collaborative meetings, resulting in clearly documented outcomes, a concrete understanding of attendee performance and reliability, and ongoing management and follow-up for action items. + Maintain transparency and active communication with all key stakeholders, providing alternative solutions if necessary. + Undertake other operational duties as assigned by management, led by Content Distribution Operations. Desired Characteristics: + 2 + years of related experience in content operations and fulfillment. + Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. + Proficient in streaming and on-demand platform terminology and functionality. + Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. + Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. + Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Demonstrated understanding of enterprise business units. + Excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills. + Strong quantitative and analytical abilities. + Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Ability to inspire trust and influence management. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy + Skilled in using project management tools such as Smartsheet, AirTable, among others. + Knowledge of broadcast scheduling system preferred. Additional Requirements: + This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. + Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area + Must be fluent in English and Spanish (speak, read & write) + Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment. + Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program + Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.
