Reporting to the Superintendent, Supply Chain Management, the Coordinator, Contract Management is responsible for overseeing all scaffolding operations and asset rental agreements. 

 

This role ensures scaffolding assemblies, disassembles, and rentals are executed safely, cost-effectively, and on schedule, while adhering to safety standards. This role is responsible for tracking rental delivery and usage, carrying out approval processes, and maintaining budget control. A key focus is fostering a safety-first culture and ensuring all activities meet the highest safety and operational standards.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures  Coordinate scaffolding contracts and asset rentals, ensuring compliance, cost control, and timely delivery/erection. Coordinate the scaffolding lifecycle, track asset rentals, and monitor rental costs to optimize spending. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits, ensuring all activities meet industry standards. Collaborate with the HSE team and manage incident investigations to implement corrective actions.  Oversee an $18M budget, aiming for a 30% cost reduction, and track all financial activities, including forecasting, invoicing, and accruals. Work with finance to monitor budget variances and mitigate risks. Track scaffold assembly times, ensure timely on-site durations, and manage labor/rental costs with strict controls on overtime. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Lead and mentor scaffolding and rental teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and continuous improvement. Report to senior management on operations, rental costs, safety, and project progress.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Business degree and or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent to relevant experience. Five years of experience in project management and or leadership.  Strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards related to scaffolding and equipment rental. Budget management experience with the ability to oversee a large budget and track expenses. Excellent communication and reporting skills for liaising with senior management and stakeholders. Ability to align operations with project schedules and lead operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to implement and handle approval processes  Excellent computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite®, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel  Possess a valid driver’s license.

Salary Range:  $103,000 - $127,000

 

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
