POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of new products, events, services and all offerings by complying to the timeline and report any issues that arises to Supervisor and Assistant Manager, Development & Support. The role includes coordination with business partners, service providers and internal business units for new projects development, support outreach job duties like trade shows, fairs, exhibitions, and other events which are not limited to the Entertainment department or Melco venues and perform day to day administrative tasks within the Entertainment department.

The scope includes to handle assigned projects/ task effectively and efficiently, to conduct market research and to propose ideas for new product, service, event and promotion. Organize department gatherings, host events as an event organizer and manage the employee engagement program. To ensure effective administration function of the Entertainment department in accordance with all polices and regulations. This position requires strong organization and teamwork abilities, time management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels effectively.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants, report any issues that ariseSupport the developing, organizing and implementing of new product, service, event, and all sort of offering to consistently enhance customer experience for all operation units and venues under the Entertainment departmentGenerate ideas for development of new product, service, event and promotion to enhance entertainment offerings varietyWork with external parties, service providers and internal departments such as Brand & Marketing, PR, Legal, Risk Management, IT, Security, Property Services, EVS, Sales and Finance etc. to ensure all development and operations are fully supportedHost an event as an event organizer or to provide supervision and support when another colleague is hosting the eventWork against the target time frames and ensure new projects/ events are delivered on timeConduct market research and report industry/market trends and developmentContribute the organization and operation of outreach job duties like trade shows, fairs, exhibitions, and other events which are not limited to Entertainment department or Melco venuesUnderstands and strictly adheres to all department’s SOPs, as well as Rules and Regulations established in the Employee Handbook and the policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safetyAble to perform routine tasks including maintenance checks, safety checks and risk assessmentsReport accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions and / or security issues to supervisorPerform administration tasks within the Entertainment department in their day-to-day functioning, arrange cleaning schedule for all areas, count and report inventory supply regularlySupport stock inventory and coordinate with Supply Chain in procurement and purchasing, in accordance with the SOP of the CompanyPlan and organize department gatherings, celebrations and ceremonies, arrange preparation for the venue and set up, and host an event as the organizerSupport the development and in charge of the operation of the comprehensive employee engagement program for Entertainment departmentPropose ideas for the employee engagement programPerform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience   

2 years working experience in relevant role

Education  

University graduate in Tourism/hospitality management
