Coordinator, Jumpstart Programs

What you’ll do
+ Support the day-to-day management of Jumpstart’s inbox through timely triage and response to external requests.
+ Support the Senior Advisor, Data Insights & Social Impact, in the collection, reporting, and presentation of data, insights and community consultation to support with all aspects of program and grant design, delivery and evaluation.
+ Assist in coordinating aspects of Jumpstart programs and initiatives, including but not limited to:
+ Communication
+ Technology
+ Participants
+ Scheduling and confirming external stakeholder meetings
+ Administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, project management, maintaining files, folders & communication logs, and program budget management
+ Support with the preparation and implementation of community consultations and focus groups to inform program design and decision-making
+ Support the programs team with the management of internal software systems as well as playing a key role in the development and implementation of new software systems to advance program outcomes and innovation, with a focus on improving access and supporting skill development.
+ Develop, coordinate, and maintain communications with internal and external stakeholders
+ Support the charity in the execution of its strategic and business objectives, including, but not limited to, providing capacity support to all program areas as required.
What you bring
+ University and/or College education
+ Sport and recreation experience considered an asset
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify and build value added analytics/reporting.
+ High degree of customer service and focus
+ Bilingual (French) an asset
+ Highly motivated and deeply passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of Canadian children and youth through the transformative power of sport.
+ Self-starter who takes initiative, have strong executional and time management skills.
+ Problem solver with the ability to adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements.
+ Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – who is able to apply those skills through a variety of mediums (i.e. email communication, presentation development support, etc..)
+ Collaborative team players who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward.
+ Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills
+ Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
