Coordinator, Marine Operations - 000FGC Description Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. The Marine Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing a fleet of vessels under the guidance of the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Providing efficient marine dispatch support. + Coordinating and resolving any issues or problems reported by the boats, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate departments for resolution. + Setting up and closing out all jobs for the vessel group. + Reviewing daily boat logs, addressing any issues that arise, and handling purchase orders. + Maintaining accurate and timely communication with customers regarding the status of vessels working for them through email and phone calls. + Ensuring accurate transmission of orders received from customers to relevant parties. + Assisting with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call or available for consultation, including scheduled days off. Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: + A High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Maritime, or a related technical field is preferred. + 3 years of experience in dispatch operations or a related field is preferred. + Demonstrated knowledge of dispatch operations and marine vessel operations is preferred. + Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations, such as percentages, ratios, and proportions, is required. + Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word and Excel, are required. + Ability to assume responsibility, adaptability, and multitask effectively under stressful conditions is required. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business at different levels of the organization, is required. + Ability to adjust communication style to effectively persuade, negotiate, and engage parties based on the audience and circumstances. + Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently. + Demonstrated conscientiousness, dependability, and commitment to the role, team, and company. + Availability to assist with operations on a 12-hour, 7-day per week basis when on call, or to provide consultation during scheduled days off. + Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time. + Must satisfactorily pass background and drug screen.
