**Coordinator, Outreach Events** **Job Details** **Job Location** Unity School of Christianity - Unity Village, MO **Position Type** Full Time **Description** **Position Summary:** UnityVillage engages the spirit of community by welcoming to campus a broad range of guests. The objective of the Outreach Events Coordinator is to help and serve all clients by creating memorable experiences through professional management and exceptional execution of events. The Outreach Department at Unity Village is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, deadline driven person who can prioritize tasks to ensure successful execution of Unity. **Essential Job Functions:** **Events** 1. Support the Director of Events & Partnerships with coordination of Unity produced events in all aspects of the event: initial planning to execution. 2. Build relationships and manage various logistics for New Thought and mission-based events. 3. Be present to meet clients at the onset of the event and ensure all necessary details are in place for successful execution of the event. 4. Reserve space and create banquet event order in appropriate software to reflect client requests and to produce proposals and contracts for various New Thought and mission-based events. 5. Create strategies and identify new opportunities to increase Unity/Unity Church/Unity Groups and Labyrinth events at Unity Village. 6. Work with Unity’s internal teams as needed to manage logistics for the event—lead venue coordinator, Communications Dept., etc. 7. Assist with communications for speakers, musicians, clients, guests, etc. before, during and after an event. This includes managing speaker/musician contracts and check requests as needed for each event, along with any other special requests. 8. Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to establish priorities and make well informed decisions. 9. Create a consistent reporting system that will keep all necessary individuals updated on the success of the Unity/Unity Church/Unity Groups and Labyrinth events at Unity Village. 10. Work with the communications team to ensure all marketing deliverables are created for each event. 11. Manage adding the Unity produced events to Eventbrite. **Other job requirements** 1. Regular and reliable attendance and ability to work weekends to meet the needs of the client and internal teams. 2. Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements. 3. Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request. 4. Must represent and express the mission, vision and values of Unity World Headquarters. 5. This is not a remote position although you are able to work from home on occasion with your supervisor’s approval. **Qualifications** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field or equivalent work experience. **Experience and Skills:** 1. Three years program/event project management experience or related sales meeting and event planning experience. 2. Unity or new thought background preferred. 3. Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities. 4. High attention to detail. 5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 6. Ability to manage projects independently. 7. Proven experience operating at all levels within an organization to interact effectively. **Computer Skills:** Proficient end user of MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
