Position: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour

Description The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a Coordinator of Pathway and Family Programs. This staff member will be responsible for leading and supervising the child watch development and family activities of assigned areas. The Coordinator of Pathway/Family programs is responsible for the development, organization and implementation of high quality pathway and families activities. The Coordinator of Pathway/Family program will have direct responsibility for directing of the pathway center and family nights.

     

Job Responsibilities

Ensures programs and services meet community needs to include supervising existing program activities, establishing new program activities. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information. Develop and maintain relationship with parent groups, other agencies related to program areas. Supervise employees in assigned areas, monitor program operations. Complete scheduling and payroll activities for assigned staff. Ensures that YMCA program standards are met and safety procedures are followed at all times

 

Qualifications

Combination of education and experience in program management. Previous supervisory experience in customer service and program management preferred. Excellent computer skills and experience with standard Microsoft Office software. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. Minimum 1 year programming experience. Current certification in CPR/AED for Adults, Children and Infants and First Aid. Adhere to Blood borne Pathogen standards and attend annual training. Ensure all classes taught are in accordance with YMCA of Greater Cleveland standards and guidelines. Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated team player.
