The Role We are seeking an experienced Post-Production Professional to join Netflix as a Post-Production Coordinator. As part of our dynamic team, you will assist in overseeing the post-production process for our Spanish & Portuguese Originals, Co-Productions, and Licensed Originals. A successful candidate will be passionate about Film & TV and Post Production. You should be self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, comfortable with change, and able to pivot when necessary. You should be detailed, thorough, and capable of juggling a number of diverse responsibilities. Your work should demonstrate strong organization, ownership, and unwavering attention to detail. This versatile and fast-paced position requires someone who is curious, proactive, exercises good judgment, has excellent communication skills and displays a delight for urgency. This position will be based in our Madrid office. Relevant work experience in the field is essential. The Role The role will support Post & VFX Managers internally while also being a key point of support for external partners. Your day-to-day tasks will include project coordination, task management, partner onboarding, administration, documentation, technical support, and other requests that facilitate the successful delivery of shows to our members. With a need to liaise with many internal specialist teams to ensure our content is maintained at the highest standards and deadlines are met, you will need to have a highly collaborative approach to your work. This should be underpinned by a strong technical understanding of all things post, as well as excellent logistical skills. Specific responsibilities include but not limited to: + Keep up to date with Netflix tools, specifications, and technologies. + Feel comfortable managing new tools and IT systems and give feedback to improve them. + Coordinate the onboarding process for production companies and freelance post producers and coordinators to the Netflix ecosystem, tools, and resources. + Set up and attend post-production calls and meetings as needed. + Track and manage all post schedules, keeping stakeholders apprised of the status. + Set up and manage dailies and creative reviews for internal Executives. + Coordinate with internal specialists from project onboarding to delivery (e.g., QC, localization, archiving assets) + Update and manage internal databases/trackers + Manage Publicity and Marketing requests and assets + Perform any other duties as necessary to support external partners and the Netflix Post Production and VFX teams. Qualifications: Essential: + Fluency in English is required + Relevant working experience as a Post Production Coordinator, or post-production professional + Passionate about Spanish Film & Television + Experience in the production of local content in Spain is a must, experience in other countries is beneficial + Local vendor knowledge of Spain + Understanding of typical Post Production Tools - Premiere, Avid, Resolve + Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Gdrive, MS Word, Excel + Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information Preferred: + Working knowledge of UHD/4K cameras and workflows + Comfortable with and willing to learn new technology Additional: + Enthusiastic about Netflix culture: our culture is unique and we live by our values - Netflix Culture (https://jobs.netflix.com/culture) + In EMEA, Netflix is headquartered in Amsterdam. + Ability to handle a fast-paced environment supervising several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery) + Understanding how to prioritize and how to respond accordingly + Excellent written and verbal communication skills We are an equal opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity of thought and background builds stronger teams.
