We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Coordinator on the Segment Experiences team. The Segment Experiences team develops the Marketing & Sales plan for assigned guest experiences and events like Fan Fest Nights, Halloween Horror Nights, and more. The guest experiences and events support the broader short and long-term marketing strategy for Universal Studios Hollywood. This position will work closely with the Sr. Managers and Managers on the team in assisting with day-to-day responsibilities. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: + Provide support to managers with development of strategic direction for experiences and events by organizing presentations, updating calendars, and more. + Accurately capture key moments of discussion and decision making in meetings or presentations and then distribute to the wider team + Assist in execution of marketing campaigns in support of theme park events + Assist in reviewing campaign projects and jobs via Workfront to ensure accuracies to event campaign goals + Continuously expand knowledge of competition to ensure Universal Studios Hollywood’s placement in the marketplace + Recommend new initiatives based on observations / learnings / knowledge + Additional duties, as assigned Basic Qualifications: + 4 year degree from a reputable College or University, with an emphasis in Marketing or Business + At least 2 years work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Basic understanding of event or experiential marketing + Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays to assist with event execution inside the theme park or CityWalk as needed + Computer skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint + Team player, willing to jump in to assist teammates when needed + Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
