Coordinator, Storeroom - Broken Parts

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for requisitioning for Technical Services MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operating) material including stock inventory and nonstock items. Accountable for preparation of material, researching discrepancies in BP/ABP inventory, shipping material and system data integrity. Interfaces heavily with UO repair suppliers, Ride and Show Coordinators and Purchasing.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Creates and coordinates purchase requisitions for items in need of repair as determined by Technical Services. Verifies serial numbers on outgoing items, updates vendor delivery dates and maintains all pertinent information in the Maximo System.
+ Coordinates the most cost effective shipping of broken/returned parts to suppliers. Completes appropriate documentation and data entry into the inventory management computer system (Maximo). Coordinates with tech services venues on vendor selection. Researches discrepancies with the vendors and venue coordinators on repair items. Coordinates with vendor to receive RMA prior to items being shipped out to vendor and follows up with vendor to acquire accurate repair time.
+ Bills scrapped material to P&L through Maximo when material is deemed uneconomical to repair. Reviews system and generates stock reorder as required on scrapped parts as part of BP replenishment.
+ Researches all Broken Part and Assurance Part discrepancies, logs physical inventories and cycle counts into the inventory management system (Maximo) ensuring all locations are inventoried to maintain audit compliance. Performs quarterly inventory of all stock inventory located at internal repair vendors.
+ Works internal reporting for all repair parts to include the WFR (waiting for return), the WTBR (waiting to be received) and the WVEN (waiting for vendor quote). Reports out weekly to the inventory management team. Works with Warehouse purchasing coordinator pertaining to BP claims and cost recovery.
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
Semi-routine; majority of work covered by established procedures; detailed understanding of work unit.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required
EXPERIENCE:
+ 1-3 Years: Two years computer experience in Windows environment and spreadsheet knowledge required.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills are required;
+ 1-3 years Supply Chain / Logistics experience preferred;
+ or equivalent combination of education and experience.
