Coordinator – Multimedia Content, Communications
+ Are you experienced in producing, managing, and coordinating media activities, such as content creation, media relations and stakeholder engagement? + We are seeking a Coordinator – Multimedia Content, Communications to responsible for developing and maintaining external communication resources and channels that will help maximise impactful program communications. + Join the Australia Timor-Leste Partnership for Human Development (PHD) on a 12-month contract (with possible extension), based in Dili, Timor-Leste. **About the Program** The Australia Timor-Leste Partnership for Human Development (PHD) is a 10-year program funded by the Government of Australia and implemented by Abt Global until May 2026. The partnership is dedicated to improving the wellbeing of Timor-Leste’s people and increasing their ability to contribute to the nation’s development. PHD focuses on strengthening government systems. This supports Timor-Leste to deliver higher-quality primary healthcare and basic education and to advance disability inclusion and gender equality. These investments contribute to achieving Timor-Leste’s Strategic Development Plan 2011–2030. **About the Opportunity** The Coordinator – Multimedia Content, Communications will work with Manager Communication in implementing the PHD communications strategy and guidelines. Responsible for developing and maintaining external communication resources and channels that will help maximise impactful program communications. The Coordinator – Multimedia Content, Communications will: + Support the delivery of the PHD Communications Work Plan and ensure that regular program materials are developed and designed for external communications including social media and reports. + Coordinate video production process and produce high-quality video, animation and photographic content + Coordinate profile interviews with community members or partners for external communications. + Generate regular photographic and written content. + Assist in organising special events and generating public support for the program and Government’s strategic development goals using a range of communication methods. Note: flexibility in supporting the program is expected. + Work alongside the Manager - Communications to support the planning and execution of communication campaigns and strategies. + Assist with program reporting, communications campaigns and program storytelling with dissemination to key stakeholders as required. + Respond to requests in a timely way and liaise with key stakeholders to develop communication activities and products - including internal staff, headquarters, Australian Embassy, implementing partners, government and beneficiaries. + Develop and maintain contact information, materials and relationships with journalists and media outlets (print, TV, radio, web) within and outside Timor-Leste to increase coverage of PHD program activities. + Maintain document and multimedia libraries, and communication guidelines, policies and resources for staff and partners. + Ensure the consistent application of PHD and Australian Embassy brand guidelines for PHD and partner communication materials and products. + Liaise with external and short-term filmmaker consultants engaged to support communications projects. + Carry out training in conjunction with the Manager -Communications to build the communications knowledge and capacity of PHD staff and agreed partners, including delivering Communications Induction to new staff as needed. + Support the design of materials as requested by Manager - Communications to support operations and technical teams. + Promote program messages/successes on National/International Days. + Support the management and monitoring of communications assets and support with video and photo and consent form archiving. + Provide support with administration and logistics related to communications as required. + Other duties as assigned. **About You** + Degree in Communications or similar. + Demonstrated technical experience in; photography, videography and design. + Knowledge and experience using social media platforms. + Excellent oral & written communications skills English & Tetun. + Coordination and time management skills. + Strong interpersonal skills. + Willingness to travel to Municipalities. + Capacity to be flexible to meet work commitment. **Further Information & How to Apply** Please apply online through the careers page of the Abt Associates website https://egpy.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com (https://egpy.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/JoinAbt/job/106287/?utm\_medium=jobshare&utm\_source=External+Job+Share) Please attach a cover letter and up-to-date CV as a single document, addressing how you meet the requirements of this role.
