**This job is a staff position with The Polytechnic School and the Engineering Program.  Most of the work will be in the West Valley of Phoenix in and around ASU’s West Campus.**

STEAM Outreach Specialist needed to support the development and implementation of engineering- and maker- focused STEAM outreach activities in schools, camps, and at community events. Responsibilities will include curriculum and activity development, materials management, and activity implementation. The majority of work will be in the West
Valley of Phoenix around ASU's West Valley Campus, with occasional trips to the East Valley.

Part-TimeASU conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Employment is contingent upon successful passing of the background check.Open

In-person and computer-based work as assigned. Position will involve transporting materials to and from schools and events.

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

This is a grant funded position. Continuation is contingent on future grant funding.
