Do you have a passion for overseeing processes in a warehouse, motivating, coaching and guiding a team of employees?

As a Coordinator you are responsible for one or more processes within the warehouse, with the emphasis mainly on coordinating your team. You divide the work among the different employees and keep priorities in mind. You can often be found in the workplace, and you monitor progress. As a Coordinator you also ensure that work instructions are up to date, ensuring a pleasant working environment where safety, quality and efficiency are the focus points. You report your activities and findings to the Team Leader. This position is on 2 shifts:

 

What you do on a typical day

Coordinating operational activities within the department Training and educating (new) employees Drafting and updating work instructions Instructing, informing and supporting the employees of the department, so that the work is carried out safely, efficiently and correctly (including KPIs and productivity) Actively respond to (expected) disruptions and opportunities for improvement of the processes of the department

 

What you need to succeed at GXO  
You can monitor team output well, have good process insight and the drive to motivate, coach and develop/supervise the people in your team. Your attitude is characterized by enthusiasm and involvement, and you know how to transfer your positive energy to your team. You speak the language of the workplace, and you feel at home in a diverse team. In order to carry out your work as well as possible, you have good communication skills.
 

You have knowledge of logistics processes and see where improvements can be applied You are familiar with the MS Office package You have experience in logistics and warehousing You are flexible and able to adopt in dynamic environment You speak fluent English
