The Coordinator-Accreditation and Quality is primarily responsible for coordinating and responding to initiatives related to the accreditation programs for The Joint Commission (TJC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other regulatory agencies as appropriate. Responsibilities include regulatory preparedness, educational planning for survey readiness, technical support, innovative resource development and training for accreditation software.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in business and four (4) years of experience in accreditation, compliance and/or project management. OR Eight (8) years of progressive responsibilities in a related field working with accreditation and Quality in lieu of degree. Proficient in Microsoft office. Five to seven (5-7) years of project coordination experience in a health care organization, preferred.
