We are looking for a dedicated Coordinator, Administrative Nursing like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Coordinator, Administrative Nursing is responsible for direct and/or coordination of all nontherapeutic management activities, not related to direct nursing care on an assigned inpatient unit. Responsible for equipment, supplies, patient charges, time and attendance tracking, and departmental capital equipment budget. **Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Required Knowledge, Skill, Abilities and Other Job-Related Characteristics:** 1. **Education** : High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program. **Experience:** Work experience in a health care setting and previous management experience desirable. 2. Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable). **Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:** 1. **Required** : N/A **Essential Job Functions:** 1. Monitors and tracks time and attendance for the department. Routine scheduling of staff. Collaborates with team members to make patient room assignments. 2. Procures supplies and equipment. 3. Develops and monitors operational and capital equipment budgets. 4. Assists nurse director with scheduling interviews of prospective new hires to include orientation of new hires. Evaluates Unit Secretaries. 5. Monitors resource utilization reports and identifies problem areas to address and offers suggestions for improvement. Prepares statistical reports. 6. Coordinates activities with other departments related to environmental and equipment maintenance. 7. The job responsibilities of this position may include cross training in other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department/work unit or to permit flexible staffing assignments. 8. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service centric environment and to perform duties and meet deadlines in a timely manner. **Additional Job Functions:** 1.
