Special Note Location Northwest Department NW Academic Affairs Job Summary The Biotechnology Grant Coordinator is responsible for assisting the implementation of biotechnology programs, training, and certification in support of the Grow the Biotech Workforce in North Texas partnership. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements* Assists the grant project manager and TCC’s Office of Grants Development and Compliance with project implementation, administrative support, and including coordinating with external grant collaborators Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support the identification of skills development and workforce pathways that will aid in the development of curriculum and training Conducts research, analysis, and report preparation relevant to the grant Collects and tracks grant data to be used when determining grant objective progression and outcomes Provides support to instructional leaders and campus administrators with accessing and analyzing data reports and creating relevant action plans in response to that analysis Coordinates community outreach, participant enrollment, and marketing efforts with other grant support staff to maximize recruitment Partners with Student Affairs stakeholders to support wrap-around services for students, so that they are effective, proactive, and relevant to the needs of the participant Supports grant outcomes by maintaining related budgets and the requisition of materials

Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Northwest Vice President of Academic Affairs

Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and work-related experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree Experience working in a community college or university setting Experience in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum design, or another closely related field Experience in grant compliance and reporting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of program development and coordination Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including the Microsoft Office suite Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and a setting Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
