**Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**
The Coordinator Compliance/Billing coordinates the regional laboratory regulatory and billing compliance programs. The coordinator maintains all required records of billing and compliance audits.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Maintains all required records of billing and compliance audits; documents findings and submits reports to the Regional Director.
+ Maintains regional laboratory compliance and billing manuals/documents; updates documents annually under the direction of the Regional Director.
+ Maintains processes surrounding all regional laboratory miscellaneous charging, late charges, and charge description master (CDM) maintenance.
+ Oversees action plans for correcting any non-compliant process or procedure; collects and analyzes data in a timely manner; prepares reports as requested by the Regional Director.
+ Assists Regional Director with the implementation of the regional laboratory compliance plan.

**Education:**
+ Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Microbiology or Chemistry required
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Science preferred, not required
**Certifications:**
+ Medical Lab Technician (MLT) ASCP _Certification_ required
**Experience:**
+ Five years of Laboratory Tech experience required
