Location Description Northfield, Minn. is home to two Post Consumer Brands manufacturing plants, the Campbell Mill and Ames Mill, two distribution centers, and more than 750 team members. The Campbell Mill plant is 1 million square feet and is home to 7 manufacturing technologies to produce a wide variety of cereal products our customers know and love. Northfield is a town steeped in history, featuring two colleges and the original Ames Mill where the Malt-O-Meal Company got its start. Responsibilities This role supports the efficient operations of the Post Consumer Brands’ Engineering department in a dynamic environment. Regular responsibilities include: project accounting, project documentation, meeting facilitation and coordination, oversight of project accounting systems and general support to the Engineering Department. This role will help execute Engineering Capital Accounting focused projects and initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITES: Supports capital project processes Provide assistance in preparing capital appropriation requests (CAR’s). Enter approved CAR’s into project accounting system Take meeting minutes for various meetings Work directly with accounting on capital projects and other tasks Coordinate and support engineering events and trainings Enter, process, and follow up on requisitions, invoices, and purchase orders. Serves as the site’s technical expert (SME) for JDE systems, Provides assistance and training to site for JDE related activities, including, but not limited to: Requisitions, PO approval and process Work with outside vendors, consultants, contractors and other resources Follow up on projects that need to be closed or change orders written 7i data entry for capital projects (Maintenance and/or Engineering data) Develop and assist with PowerPoint presentations Set up files, file retrieval, and file maintenance Track data for reporting metrics Prioritize own workload daily to meet changing deadlines, priorities and work assignments Assist with putting together manuals, drawing sets, copying projects, etc. Provide assistance in training new engineer team members on department systems and procedures Direct inquiries to appropriate resources in absence of supervisor Maintain a general knowledge of company goals, plant systems and possess an understanding of some technical vocabulary Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Very strong skills with Microsoft Office tools, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Past experience (or ability to learn) using JDE E1 procurement Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude, even under high pressure situations Highly confident, self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail Ability to accomplish goals and form teams through influence within Engineering and across the organization Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization Ability to balance and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Creative problem solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language EDUCATION: Two year degree in business, administrative assistant, accounting, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
