The Coordinator for Success Through Well-Being (CSTWB) reports to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Success Through Well-Being. The CSTWB will play a critical role supporting the day-to-day operations of the Success Through Well-Being team. The CSTWB will have both administrative and student facing responsibilities, and will support the STWB team in communicating with key stakeholders.

Evenings and weekends may be required.

The CSTWB will contribute to the maintenance of good working relationships with all members of the department and University community.

The CSTWB shall exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical behavior with adherence to NCAA, Council of Ivy League Presidents, University, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education rules and regulations.

Success Through Well-Being includes the areas of Columbia Athletics Enrichment Services and Championship Performance. Enrichment Services includes NCAA academic progress, academic enhancement programming, academic support advising, tutoring, career development, and well-being. Championship Performance includes mental performance and sports nutrition.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Success Through Well-Being team members to support programming, events, student-athlete affinity groups/special interests groups, campus requirements, and day-to-day unit needs. Serve as point of contact for all STWB centralized programming. Conduct outreach and connect with student-athletes and coaches regarding STWB support needs. Responsible for executing key administrative tasks for the Success Through Well-Being department (e.g., reporting, presentations, managing key dates and information, assistance with budget management of operating and NCAA funds, communication with key stakeholders, etc.) Responsible for managing and sending STWB communication to coaches, staff, and student-athletes. Manage STWB social media content (e.g., well-being education and information, highlights student-athlete success, etc.) Assist the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Success Through Well-Being, the Associate Athletics Director for Success Through Well-Being, and the Success Through Well-Being team with developing and delivering Success Through Well-Being programming, resources, initiatives, and special projects. Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum of 0-2  years’ related experience required. Must clearly demonstrate the following competencies and qualities: Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously  Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and the general public.
