Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Coordinator I, Audit to join our Pharmacy Audit department!
The Coordinator I, Audit will assist the Manager, Pharmacy Audit and Audit Team in the execution and maintenance of the Navitus pharmacy audit program, pharmacy correspondence, and audit support. The Coordinator I, Audit will initiate audit documentation outreach, data entry into online tools and documents, compile reporting and claims data, and other audit activity tracking. In addition, Coordinator I, Audit will facilitate audit correspondence, respond to initial pharmacies inquiries and support performance guarantee monitoring along with ad hoc audit needs. Coordinator I, Audit will follow through on deliverables and assignments timely with limited prompting, monitoring, and maintaining auditing and credentialing inventory, and adhere to document organization structure. The role requires good knowledge of pharmacy claims, billing, and payment.

Assist Audit Manager and Audit Team with the execution and maintenance of the Navitus pharmacy audit program, controls, and guidance.Collect information used for analysis. Extract information from data resources, reports, and observations made at work sites. Document and organize information according to the audit work planFollow HIPAA regulations and confidentiality requirements when handling and providing documentsDraft selected report materials in pre-approved formats that include recommendations, procedures, manual references, and proposed policy changesReceive and assemble working papers to comply with industry auditing standardsCommunicate routinely with the Audit Manager regarding audit progress, issues, other departmental work timelines, priorities, etc.Learn basic functions in claims processing and audit software to assist team activitiesAssist in generating pharmacy correspondence associated with audit program, tracking, and reporting responsibilities of teamTrack hours worked, assists in preparing work-in-progress reports, monitors key deadlines and/or timelines for projects, and work activitiesIdentify Audit processes that can be improved and suggest ways to improve, including collaboration with other departments, as necessary. Suggest plans of action to achieve those process improvements. Lead efforts to implement the improvements, where applicable QualificationsWhat our team expects from you?
High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate’s degree in health-related business field strongly desired. A combination of education and relevant work experience may substitute the educational requirementA minimum of two years’ experience in pharmacy and/or healthcare claims business processes is highly desiredOther business office organizational or audit experience may substitute for pharmacy and/or healthcare knowledgeExperience supporting a team unit is also desiredParticipate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employeesWhat can you expect from Navitus?
