Department:Health Systems GroupPre-Employment Screening:Identity Job Function:General Administration Position Description: The project coordinator will conduct the following administrative and organizational duties and responsibilities within an agreed timeframe with the PI and research team for sponsored programs within HSIL:
+ Working with the PI to plan domestic and global meetings
+ Managing the PI's calendar and arranging logistical details for meetings, appointments, and travel
+ Assisting with international and domestic event coordination, including annual symposia
+ Communicating with high level contacts within development partner organizations, NGOs, foreign governments, and HSIL research teams
+ Managing HSIL's social media presence, website maintenance, and newsletter design
+ Using multiple technical applications including word processing, spreadsheets, graphics and presentation software, electronic calendar, email, and other technical/scientific applications
+ Formatting, proofreading, and copy editing reports and presentations (including references)
+ Preparing and producing internal and external financial reports using online financial systems, such as reimbursements for travel, corporate cards, etc.
+ Assisting in the preparation of spreadsheets for budgeting, including tracking and maintaining expenditures and reconciling accounts
+ Assisting with library/research work and summarizing findings
+ Working in close collaboration with HSIL team members, including managing calls and discussions using collaboration software (e.g., Zoom, Dropbox) and providing general technical support for such calls and meetings
+ Serving as a liaison between the research team and GHP administrative staff
+ Providing additional administrative support as needed and performing other duties as assigned
