Nature & Purpose of Position Performs moderately complex administrative and supervisory program work for Athletics. Primary Responsibilities Oversees the work of assigned Football staff. Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of team activities. Confers with Athletics staff on program issues and problems and recommends solutions. Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all aspects of the football team’s travel to include scheduling of hotels, busses, equipment trucks, and meals. Ensures travel arrangements, while conforming to University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines. Travels with the football team to all functions to ensure student athletes are provided with adequate housing and meals. Reviews all bills related to football functions and submits them to the Athletic Business Office for payment. Oversees the process of fundraising, promotions, camps, and other events for the football program. Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. Interprets University, NCAA, and C-USA policies, rules, and regulations and ensures they are followed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
