Let’s define tomorrow together. **Job overview and responsibilities** The coordinator - International Accounting follows direction on standard procedures, including several different rules and work methods relating to accounting functions, which is communicated by the direct supervisor. Is responsible for following standard methods and approved practices, requiring some judgment with regards to the application of appropriate rules and regulations. In addition, this role will perform closing or adjusting entries as instructed as well as clerical work related to accounting, auditing or fiscal function, which requires basic bookkeeping practices, comprising of such duties as recording, checking and accumulating statistics. The candidate is required to be computer literate with the ability to meet proficiency standards which are required to enter the accounting data. Essential Job Accountabilities: + Book accounting entries at United accounting systems and local books as direct by immediate supervisor. + Perform credit card reconciliation. + Perform preparation of less complex account reconciliation. + Perform administrative and Clerical tasks as assigned. + Customer Engagement. + Accounting entry errors to less than 1%. + Preparation of timely and accurate account reconciliation documents and reports. **This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.** **Qualifications** **Required** + Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience working in similar capacity + Excellent communicator, analytical skills, sensitivity to cultural differences, proven customer focus + Fluency in English and local language (written and spoken) + Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, Access & Powerpoint + Knowledge of international operations, policies and procedures + Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil for any employer without sponsorship + Must be fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) + Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification + Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position **Preferred** + Experience in Airline industry in accounting or finance is highly preferred + Fluency in other languages a plus + Processes and metrics driven personality
