Job Description

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Lansing Delta on a full-time basis.

The Role/Job Overview:

Your focus is maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the inventory records while maintaining relationships with suppliers and other support personnelYou would be responsible for working with suppliers; 3rd party support organizations; in plant supply chain organization; Team Leaders and Team Members and othersYou will work to ensure that we experience no part issues that would lead to the inability to meet our customer requirements

What you’ll do/Responsibilities

Problem investigation and resolution utilizing PPS and SPPS systemsBusiness Plan Deployment (BPD) and Global Manufacturing System (GMS) support and reporting which will require the candidate to be able to report out on issues and what the corrective actions to prevent in the future will beSupport of process and procedures which can involve writing new work instructions; updating existing processes and training individuals to the requirementsSolve complex inventory control issues that may arise through investigation of shipping and receiving functions; scrap; structure issuesWork with plant personnel and 3rd party personnel to review inventory levels; transit times; ship frequency among other factors to drive proper banking strategiesManage inventory control through high precision cycle counts required monthly as well as plant driven cycle counts investigation any discrepancies and driving corrective actions for inventories that are not accurate to the record balancesSupporting Model Year changes related to build out and startup – ensuring parts are available to build out units at MY change as well as ensuring that parts are available to seamlessly start the following MY unique partsWill be responsible as part of your role to be the lead and SME for one of the following:Dangerous Goods Plant Subject ExpertSupplier related BTAB moves (part changes related to a process or location change)CCA / SPAC (Service) Shipments Weekly (Picking; Packing; Labeling and Shipping of component parts as required)Provide answers / solutions / suggestions to the problems that are identified working a sense of urgency to eliminate the issue

Additional Job Description

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience: 3+ years of relevant experience required Experience in Supplier relationsKnowledge of MGOAbility to solve complex problemsAbility to work effectively with a cross-functional group; leading the group as neededAbility to multi-task on multiple critical issues at the same timeAbility to work effectively under a high amount of stressAbility to work off-shift and over-time as needed

Masters Degree in Supply ChainPrevious experience with MGO-A5+ years in Supply ChainMulti-plant / facility experiencesPrevious experience in a Manufacturing facilityAbility to work effectively will all levels of the organization
