JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of Casino Hosts and Player Development

 

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Coordinates complimentary process with Player Development and other operating departmentsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property informationMonitors activities that could affect efficiencies and effectiveness of the department including internal controls, department rules and regulations and equipment maintenancePromotes casino by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful, mannerMaintains confidentiality of company documentsEnsures consistent service standards are maintainedResolves guest complaints and takes appropriate action under the direction of the Player Development ExecutivesGreets guests in casino and participates in social events and special promotionsConducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission, Seminole Tribe of Florida, and Player Development department policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned

Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredBachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of six (6) months of related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be computer literateProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word is requiredMust be efficient in Players Club, Hotel Reservations, Casino Marketplace, and administrative functionsMust possess exceptional communicative and interpersonal skillsAbility to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experienceCommitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goalsMust present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearanceMust be able to work a variety of schedules, to include evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be team-oriented and must enjoy working with and assisting peopleMust be able to exercise judgment on an independent basis.Must be articulate and possess a professional appearance and demeanorPunctuality and meeting of deadlines is critical

 

Work Environment:

Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

Native American Preference Policy:

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
