Position Description: The Research Coordinator is a member of the research team and assists in the recruitment, data collection, specimen testing, and follow-up of patients eligible for or registered to a clinical trial. You will be responsible for interpreting lab manuals and processing study specimens using independent judgment, collecting and submitting study-related data, and assisting with regulatory procedures. We have the best schedules in healthcare – You will be scheduled Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends. What’s Required:Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of previous experience in healthcare, research, or a combination of bothUnderstanding of medical terminology as well as standard clinical procedures and protocolsAbility to distill detailed study protocols and lab manuals in order to process study specimens. Demonstrates competency in the use of a variety of computer programs, including Microsoft products, multiple EHR systems across Munson, and electronic data entry systems, as required by individual protocols, sponsors or hospital systemsExcellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior time management, organizational skills and follow-through on tasks/responsibilitiesEffectively sets prioritiesCapable of working independently with minimal supervision as part of a teamExcellent attention to detailAnalytical and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptionsAbility to interpret and adhere to complex trial protocols and manuals and explain them to multidisciplinary team
