Safety Coordinator Position Summary
Safety Coordinator Coordinates the Safety Program of TidalHealth. This position provides oversight to the daily activities of a section of the Facilities Management Department. Recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement of TidalHealth Delivers exceptional quality and service to all patients and other customers. Through a constant pursuit of excellence and respect for every individual, fosters an environment of participation, teamwork and professional growth.
Safety Coordinator Position Requirements
Associate’s degree in safety management, industrial, occupational hygiene, or related program is required, Bachelor’s is preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification is required. Fire brigade training is required. Two years of safety management experience in a health care or industrial setting.Safety Coordinator Work Schedule
Assigned to day shift, Monday through Friday. Expected to respond to calls after normal workings hours or weekends. May be required to work long hours in event of an emergency. Participates in departmental on-call with Director, Assistant Director and other supervisors.Safety Coordinator Benefits
