PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

Use your Learning Management Skills (LMS) skills to build valuable learning experiences for our team at Canadian Pacific Kansas City. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals in Adult Learning, Instructional Design, and Training Compliance. You will help drive data-driven decision-making and ensure the successful implementation of our training programs.

 

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead the technical and functional day-to-day operational aspects of the LMS Perform data analysis to uncover actionable trends and patterns in LMS data Manage the translation of learning materials into different languages (e.g., French and Spanish) and arrange multimedia content for instructor-led and e-learning projects. Coordinate the printing of learning materials, including graphics creation, shopping cart maintenance, and logistics for international shipping Prepare LMS reports and training completion audits for internal and external clients Develop and maintain dashboards based on LMS records to improve data literacy and implement standard processes throughout the organization Develop and maintain LMS curriculums, assignment profiles, course items, and other functional aspects of the LMS Manage the LMS Admin shared mailbox, handling a wide variety of queries, troubleshooting, and responding to inquiries Liaise between the Business and the LMS team for testing, troubleshooting, and project creation

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Related university diploma or degree in Adult Education, Design, Business, or a related field Proficiency in LMS platforms (Brightspace, Totara, Moodle, SuccessFactors, etc.) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro. Other tools include Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, or Canva Validated experience in learning & development practices, foundations, and principles Knowledge of eLearning content management (SCORM 1.2 compliant authoring and deployment systems) Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite of applications Excellent written and verbal communication, computer, and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment

Management Conductor Program:
