Job Title: Coordinator- Yard 

 

 

Job Summary 

The Yard Coordinator is responsible for organizing and executing daily activities in the Linamar Transportation Yard and office.  

 

Responsibility 

Clean the interiors of commercial vehicles prior to reassignment or as needed.  

Empty garbage bins and dispose of waste in designated industrial-sized containers.  

Ensure the yard is kept clean and organized, maintaining high standards of tidiness.  

Monitor and manage traffic flow entering and exiting the yard.  

Document and log equipment damage with photographs and detailed records.  

Perform regular yard inspections, including checks at designated drop locations.  

Conduct monthly health and safety inspections of the yard, commercial vehicles, and office facilities.  

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

 

Academic/Educational Requirements 

Completion of Secondary School Diploma.  

 

Required Skills/Experience 

1-2 years of experience in the transportation industry an asset.  

Valid AZ License an asset.  

Experience with tools and equipment necessary for yard maintenance.  

Specialized knowledge in heavy truck repair an asset.  

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.  

Transportation to travel between Yard and Office.
