The YPL Planning Coordinator is responsible for managing stock and availability processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution of operational activities to maximize customer satisfaction. As the primary contact for stakeholders, the coordinator leads improvement programs to enhance process efficiency and accuracy. This role involves balancing short-term young plant demand (sales) and supply by liaising with production, operations, and other Syngenta departments to address customer requests promptly.
The Challenge
This role involves coordinating stock-related tasks within YPL Planning, balancing demand and supply, and acting as a spokesperson for non-standard inquiries. The coordinator develops relationships with stakeholders, represents YPL Planning in various platforms, and communicates sales possibilities proactively. Coaching colleagues in demand and supply processes and supporting tool development are also important aspects.
Key responsibilities include initiating corrective actions to minimize order impact during demand and supply imbalances, managing supply chain and customer service processes for the EAME region, and ensuring accurate communication between production and customer service. The coordinator reports on Key Performance Indicators, responds to supply chain inquiries, and ensures alignment with QUOTIF and INFOTIF principles. Additionally, the coordinator processes information accurately in SAP and monitors unconfirmed orders.

Qualifications
The Profile
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in administration, supply chain management, or a related field, is fluent in English and Dutch, and has at least three years of experience in supply chain management or office administration. Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and production processes is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset are crucial for success. The coordinator should work well under pressure and be adept at executing tasks efficiently and accurately.
