Our client, a leading magazine, is seeking temporary Copy Editor to support their print and editorial teams. This temporary position would start late-March and last for approximately 4 months. If you're interested, apply today!
About the Job:
* Copyedit and proofread content while monitoring the production timeline.
* Ensure editorial procedures are consistent with objectives and allow of efficient completion of work.
* Proofread final articles, both print and online.
* Support the department through additional relevant tasks as needed.
About You:
* 5+ years of newspaper or magazine copyediting experience are required.
* 1+ years of online publishing experience is required.
* A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or a related field is required.
* Strong Adobe InCopy/InDesign skills with experience working in print publishing platforms.
* Demonstrated multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
About the Position:
* Pays $37/hr-$41/hr
* Temporary for 4 months, starting 3/24.
* Hybrid schedule with remote Fridays!
* Metro accessible office in Washington, DC.
