As a Copywriter at Favor, you’ll collaborate with various teams to create impactful content for multiple audiences and deliver a consistent and cohesive brand experience at every touchpoint. In addition to driving performance, your words should help foster community and brand loyalty among customers, Runners (delivery drivers), and merchant partners.
With a strong understanding of copy fundamentals and previous industry knowledge, the ideal candidate for this role will be able to quickly adopt and elevate Favor’s brand voice to support a high volume of copy needs across the company.What You'll Do:Support a high volume of copy needs from multiple teams across the company.Write error-free copy that complies with brand and company guidelines while differentiating Favor in a competitive market.Work with the Brand and Media teams to develop and execute content strategy for paid and organic content.Work with the Product and Support teams to produce copy for customer and Runner websites, apps, and service platforms.Work with the CRM team to promote a variety of initiatives via email, in-app messages, and push notifications.Work with the Sales and Brand teams to produce copy for physical and digital marketing materials.Work with the People Ops team to support a variety of employer branding, DEI, and internal initiatives.Work with the Copy Team Lead to develop Favor’s brand voice and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Partner with members of the Brand and Creative teams to ideate, concept, and pitch new campaigns.Partner with cross-functional teams and complete additional duties as needed.Skills You Have:Bachelor's degree (or relevant experience)A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience 2+ years of agency or in-house copywriting experienceExperience writing copy for performance-based marketing campaignsExperience writing copy for Product and Support teamsExperience in ideation and creation of cross-functional marketing campaignsA strong portfolio that shows relevant real-world experienceBilingual in Spanish and English with proficiency in reading and writing in Spanish is preferred Who You Are:You have an understanding of digital content platforms including Wordpress, Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Snapchat, TikTok, and Spotify You are able to write clear, concise, and compelling messages with a thorough understanding of grammar, SEO, and brand guidelines You can collaborate directly with designers and photographers to guide a range of creative projects from conception to completionYou recognize and recall important details accurately and efficiently You are able to multitask and work constructively in a fast-paced environment You are flexible and willing to navigate between analytical and creative projectsYou are extremely comfortable receiving and giving creative feedbackYou are familiar with humor and pop culture and able to use those references appropriatelyLife at Favor
Where you'll work: This role can be hybrid or remote, depending on the team member’s location in Texas. If you live in Austin, Texas, we ask that you work from home roughly three days per week and work at our HQ for the remaining work days. If you live in a different city in Texas, you will primarily work from home, with the opportunity to travel to Austin for company-wide events.
