Pay Rate: $32 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, a top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Copywriter for an 8-month contract. The role is hybrid with 6 days a month in office in downtown Toronto. Lead the creation of engaging financial content and commentaries, acting as the subject matter expert on financial planning, literacy, and practice management for the SGAM and broader teams. Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate industry trends into timely, relevant content for use across SGAM and social media, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Manage relationships with external vendors and strategic industry partners, overseeing content development, ensuring compliance, and optimizing content syndication programs. Provide direction and insights throughout the development of marketing campaigns and national initiatives, ensuring they align with Scotiabank's values and deliver results. Ensure day-to-day operations adhere to the Bank's risk culture, regulatory compliance, AML/ATF risk, and conduct risk standards, actively managing business controls.
Must have skills: 8+ years of financial communications experience with a demonstrated portfolio of work in the financial services industry Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategy, planning and communications. Proficient with Microsoft Office Experience in a similar role within the financial sector, preferably with an investment firm Exceptional verbal and written communication skills is a must.
