Role description: 

Join the Commercial Enablement Team (CE) to enhance the Growth Community through expert copywriting, content editing, and proofreading. Your role will involve creating high-quality content for proposals, presentations, and other business development materials, ensuring that messaging is clear and impactful. Additionally, you will be responsible for transforming complex technical and operational information into concise and accessible written documentation, contributing to the continuous improvement of our content quality and overall communication strategy

Role accountabilities: 

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Develop and write creative, engaging, and effective copy for a range of materials, including but not limited to: intranet copy, newsletters, project references, statement of qualifications, etc. Understand the message the stakeholder is seeking to express and translate this into written content Drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication Develop and maintain a clear and consistent Arcadis brand voice Understand different language styles that appeal to various target markets Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate communications materials Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, grammar, and readability. Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics, competitors, and target audience to inform content creation. Learn about the target audience for copy Collaborate with the designers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging and Arcadis’ brand voice. Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality check (QC) on colleagues' work to ensure accuracy and consistency. Mentor colleagues in handling tasks related to Global Account Management, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and understanding of the processes involved. Perform other related tasks as assigned 

Qualifications & Experience: 

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in copywriting, content editing, and proofreading, particularly within the professional services, consultancy, or construction sectors. Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop) is considered an advantage. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional writing skills, with a strong portfolio that showcases a variety of work and impeccable grammar. Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills are critical, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects. The role requires a self-directed individual with strong research abilities who can distill complex information into clear and engaging copy. A flexible approach to adapting ideas based on stakeholder needs, along with a detail-oriented mindset, is essential for success in this fast-paced corporate environment
