Summary: Plans, researches, develops and writes educational material, internal communications, and marketing copy in line with organizational objectives. Produces content for training, internal communications, and marketing.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
+ Writes copy for promotional literature, marketing collateral, media advertising, video scripts, educational material, and internal publications designed to boost culture awareness, utilization of best practices and departmental resources.
+ Pitches, drafts, and coordinates visual layouts, compositions, and subjects with the appropriate teams.
+ Collaborate with trainers, video and media production, curricula, and administrative teams.
+ Reviews, proofreads, and provides guidance to teammates with written materials.
+ Preparing and facilitating interviews with subjects of interest.
+ Coordinates with subject matter experts to write curricula.
+ Translates English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
+ Captures video and photos content of subjects of interest.
+ Produces content for broadcast shows.
+ Communicate with necessary parties for content approval.
+ Utilizes proper data management processes.
+ Maintains accurate timekeeping records.
+ Keeps work area neat and clean.

Communication Skills:
Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel in person and over the phone. Strong interpersonal and skills. Advanced knowledge of English language. Ability to pitch and explain ideas. Ability to meet project deadlines.
Computer Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office products, Photoshop, Canva and teleconferencing software.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Attendance Expectations:
Remote work is authorized for this position at the discretion of management. Otherwise, the work location will be at Hendrick Independence Center. Regular, on-time attendance is expected regardless of location. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, twist; type on the computer, and speak over the phone. Some travel by car or plane may be required. Lifting, pulling, pushing of up to 25 lbs may be required.
Environment Demands:
Duties are primarily performed at a desk in an office environment. Work involves continuous contact and interaction with management office personnel. Work includes movement around facilities.
Verbal and Writing Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to receive and communicate with management office personnel/vendors/teammates courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
