Kemper Scholars Internship Program
Kemper Scholars internships will enable you to broaden your understanding of the business, make valuable connections, and set a course for your professional journey with us. You will work on special projects that positively impact our business and our customers. Kemper is looking for students who love to problem solve and are willing to make real-life impact on projects that may involve the senior executives to front-line associates. We deliver meaningful experiences in various internship areas like Product Development, Claims, Operations, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, and much more. Are you ready to create your own journey by joining ours? This is a 10-week paid internship offering challenging projects that support Kemper’s strategic priorities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:
Write compelling, original, engaging, and compliant content that builds and maintains our brand and marketing voice.Research and understand the organization’s diverse needs and target audiences through reviews of existing information and research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings.Crafts, edits, and uploads copy for a range of materials such as social posts, blog posts, brochures, print and digital ads, emails, training materials, website content, video scripts, and more.Involved in all elements of content creation, from brainstorming and copy concepts to final website upload or print deployment.Collaborates with internal teams to create compelling copy that drives strategy results.Maintains brand standards and consistency.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):
Junior or Senior status enrolled at University of Texas Rio Grande ValleyQualifying majors in an academic area related to English, creative writing, or journalismA minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 2-3 days a week.Must be proficient in Spanish and English.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
