The Cordish Gaming Shared Services Intern will rotate through applicable departments within the organization with the goal of gaining exposure to basic concepts and functions of these areas. As an intern, this position is expected to achieve duties as assigned, complete tasks, support projects and remain curious throughout their rotations, tying together experiences and learnings to gain a broader understanding of the business. The primary purpose of this position is to offer the individual a career development opportunity by providing real work experience.
Responsibilities Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.Ability to solve complex problems.Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment. Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position. Knowledge of safety guidelines.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must be self-directed and able to work with/without supervision.Must be energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.

Reach with hands, arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch; continuous wrist motion when using computers.
